Perimeter Clinic Atlanta has been a family-owned practice since 2000, starting when Dr Rikhter and his wife opened their doors in October of that year. As a privately-owned business, the care we provide to our patients is personalized. We also focus on building relationships, and many current patients have been with us from very beginning. As family physicians, we understand the crucial role of preventative care and advocate our patients to take an active role in maintaining their overall health and wellbeing through the wide array of services we provide. We strive to make our patients feel as comfortable as possible in addressing their mental and physical needs.
Dr. Alex E. Rikhter is a board certified Internal Medicine physician. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Donetsk State Medical Institute in 1979. For over a decade, he practiced as a General Surgeon in Donetsk. In 1991, he moved to the USA and obtained residency at Wayne State University of Detroit. He then moved to Atlanta, and worked as an attendant physician for three years at Piedmont Clinic before ultimately opening his own practice in 2000. He also provides his services as the Medical Director at the Weinstein Hospice and, until recently, was managing the William Breman Nursing Home.
Dr Travis Lloyd is a board certified Family Medicine physician. She graduated from University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1999. After completing a Family Medicine residency at University of California San Diego, she and her husband moved to Atlanta in 2003. Dr Lloyd has been with Perimeter Clinic since 2007.
